Energy management
The Northlands Energy EMS, powered by world-leading AI
Holistic energy management across solar, battery, grid and generator. On ATESS and SolarEdge sites we match solar output to what your site is using and what your battery can take, and schedule the battery around your time-of-use tariff.
- Our own platform. We built it to watch over our sites. Battery sites on it are checked every minute, and if the grid drops or a battery runs low, our team is alerted on WhatsApp.
- Your own dashboard. Solar, grid and battery, with savings priced from your actual bill.
- Load and geyser control. The EMS controls load through our smart meter breakers. For geysers, we are an official Plentify partner and sales channel: the HotBot controller fits beside an existing electric geyser and heats water when solar power is available or tariffs are lowest, while keeping hot water ready.

Northlands Energy is a national independent power producer and EPC specialist. We design, build and manage solar, battery storage and smart metering for commercial, industrial and property developments, from engineering and procurement through construction to ongoing support. Systems run from rooftop solar to containerised battery plant, tailored to the property. You can purchase outright, take a structured lease or choose a long-term power purchase agreement.

Buy electricity any time
Virtual prepaid customers top up by card or Instant EFT through the portal, any time. Direct EFT has no transaction fee and can take up to 24 hours to reflect. STS customers buy tokens from their banking app or a retailer.
